Ali Brown's Online Blueprint Success Workshop

This was my 4th Online Blueprint Success Workshop and let me tell you, every time I go, it's an experience.

Sometimes I learn new business or marketing concepts but for the most part now I go for the relationship building and networking in order to really get in alignment with 'who' I'm meant to work with - do you know what I mean?

Here's a pic of me and Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero who I see out at events now quite often.

This whole year for me has been about two things:

  1. Upleveling myself - 'paying to play' so to speak, my new phrase

  2. Just 'being' Kat - meaning not always having to 'do' stuff or get stuff done (although that's what I help my clients do), but rather just being one with myself, one with spirit and trying to be who I need to be in order to attract the right kinds of opportunities and clients into my life.

The first night at Ali's event she had a big VIP Magazine Launch party for the release of her new printed, glossy magazine - Ali Magazine. It was a fun party for sure, Ali always knows how to throw a good party. Her magazine is even more impressive; if you haven't picked up a copy yet, you should really try to find a copy. She's working on it getting into stores now and I'm not even sure how you can subscribe yet but check out her website and get on her list if you're not on it.

This is a shot of a bunch of people dancing at her party

This is me and Nika Stewart; she and I have been running into each other at events for a few years now too.

Next, we have Kelly O'Neil with Uplevel Strategies; Kelly and I are just becoming closer after seeing each other out and about too. I'm telling you networking WORKS no matter what level you're at doing it (locally or nationally).

Here is a bunch of us posing in our fun colored dresses....

Next we have more - women of power - me, Laura Mak, Erin Thoms Melnick and Christine Cibula.

Then me and Dr. Cristy Emerson, one of the gals in my mastermind group with David Neagle. Cristy's been a huge supporter for me this year.

To the left is me and Melanie Benson Strick who I've also gotten to know a lot better this year; she was at the Glazer Kennedy Information Marketing Summit as well as Ali's just like I was.

This picture to the right, with me in the center is of my new friends Gail and Diane - they too were at both events like me and Mel were - we're all crazy in the conference circuit this month for sure. These gals were a hoot and I can't wait to get to know them better; I'm sure I'll be seeing more of them too.

More of the fabulous women who enjoyed this party and who I got to know better at the OSBW.

And this is Jennifer Bourn, my fabulous website designer (she's doing my new site) and one of my coaching clients as well. She came to the OSBW on my recommendation and she recently shared with me what a life altering experience it was for her and I'm so glad

This is Desiree, she has a company called Empowered Woman which we've been meaning to discuss now for some time so it was good to meet her in person. It's funny how you often meet people online, or they get on your list or find you on Facebook, etc. You have communications and maybe even work together BEFORE sometimes even meeting in person. This is how cool this information marketing business and industry can be!

This is Jody England, we had a similar experience and it wasn't until this event where I finally felt more of a connection with her - plus she gave me one of her books, Attraction Actions. Thank you Jody!

All in all, these two weeks I spent at the Info Summit and then at Ali's workshop were some of the best times I've had recently - both for generating business leads and also for cultivating peer relationships, and yet it took a lot out of me.
Yes, I get tired too. I can't always be the go-go-girl like you may think.
In fact I'm writing this a couple weeks after the fact since I couldn't bring myself to get it all out. I'm still tired in fact. Traveling and being 'on' all the time will wear anyone out, even the best networkers like me!
So, do what you can for yourself, do as much as you can but remember to take time for you too....

Information Marketing Summit - recap

My trip to St. Louis for the Glazer-Kennedy Information Marketing Summit was a big success.

I was an exhibitor at this event because many of the 'newbie' information marketers are my ideal target market. Here is Kim Kerns, one of my assistants (virtual most of the time), and me in my booth -->.

We had a good time but it was a long 4 days for sure....conference all day and in between working the booth. Thank goodness she agreed to come with me; I would not have wanted to do this all alone. Plus, she got some new clients to boot!

This is Ari Galper, creator of Unlock the Game and Chatwise. Ari and I have known each other through the conference circuit for a few years now and now we're planning on doing a joint venture together next year with my Ultimate Marketing Follow Up System and his Chatwise program too - he was a speaker at this event and he made an offer on his system that I had to snatch up! (I'll tell you more about his system in future ezines - make sure you're getting them, sign up in the top right!)

A close up of me and Kim....

This is me and Robert Skrob, the President and CEO of the Information Marketing Association - if you're an info-marketer, this is a membership you want to be a part of for sure!

Then, just me in my booth....

This is Vince with Adtoons.com - he had a booth right next to me so we became buddies....he draws you as a character or 'toon' that you can use in your marketing. It's a fun concept and he's really good! Instead of drawing me as a character, he drew me and 'my big vision' which was cool to have him pull it out of me like that - I can't wait to see the finished product!

These gals I seem to see everywhere now and we're becoming great friends!
From left to right, Kelly O'Neil with Uplevel Strategies, me, Melanie Benson Strick with The Success Connection and Beth Schnieder with Process Prodigy.

Another fun group - Melanie again, Bari with Sage Event Management (she and her team are awesome - I can't wait to hire her to run my event in 09!), Fabienne Fredrickson and me!

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures....no time....but lots of learning, networking and early mornings! (oh and bad service at the hotel....really bad)
I'll write more tips about what I learned very soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
I hope you have a very memorable week with family or friends.

Tis the season to not only give others gifts but to also give yourself a gift too!

The topics I've been writing about in my ezines lately about Faith, Delegating, Automating, Living your true authentic self, living the life of your dreams, etc. are topics that are literally changing my coaching clients lives and that have changed mine this last year as well.

I speak to so many entrepreneurs every week that still don't have an assistant or are still working WAY too hard when you don't have to and I truly want to help as many of you as I can.

This is why I put together a series of 4 teleclass recordings I did in the last year - all of which have to do with making big changes in your mindset and your business day-to-day activities. They also revolve around planning too which is something I see only about 3% of entrepreneurs even doing every year in a formal manner at least.

I want to give these to you for a really, really low price than they will be offered on my new website when I add them because:

  • #1 it's Thanksgiving and I consider myself a generous person
    and

  • #2 because I know for some of you 'times are tough' but you still need help figuring out what to do to get more clients and business NOW, right?

All of these 4 recordings will be emailed to you once you register. They are all under 80 minutes too so you can burn them to a CD and take them and listen to them in your car or iPod.

First you get my 2 Part Series of calls I did last fall, entitled:
"Working ON Your Business Rather Than Just IN It".

This series covers the 4 Steps to Business Success that I've seen highly successful business owners do, been coached and trained by them and they've actually shown me so I know they work. This is stuff I'm sure Oprah and Donald Trump must use in their big picture visioning and planning as well.

Then I am including the JumpStart Your Business Teleclass recordings I made in Jan and Feb. Some of the key points might be the same in these 2 calls however the discussion around them and the examples I give on each call are different so I encourage you to listen to both of them. go get access now

These include live 'hot spot' type questions and answer sessions with some of my coaching members where they share about their businesses and the issues they encounter which could be of great value to you as well.

So, click here to get all 4 audio recordings via email now for the low price of only $27 as my gift to you. My members paid up to $188 for access to this same information and I plan to charge much more than $27 for these calls when they launch on my new site.

So go get access now for $27 and then set aside a couple hours to go through these calls so you can take action before the New Year rolls around - you'll be ahead of the game (and your competitors for sure!).
Here's to creating and enjoying the life and business of your dreams,

Got FAITH?

So, do you have it? Do you really know what it is? Let me explain why I'm talking about this today. First of all, if you're listening to the news or gossiping about the economy it may be hard for you to live currently in complete faith that 'everything will work out in the end'. However if you are choosing to reject the recession like many of my friends and I then your faith is probably pretty well in-tact.

My friend Christine Kloser is writing a book called The Faith Formula to compliment her recent book The Freedom Formula, many of you may have gotten her book when I announced her big launch a month or so ago - it's awesome. (Oh and I have to tell you about her big event she's having too in LA this January - it's called the Freedom Formula Experience and it's going to knock your socks off - check it out and JOIN ME!)

So, without giving away her whole formula, I listened in on a teleclass with Christine and she describes faith as having:

  • a belief in self
  • a high vibration or energy
  • intent focus
  • persistence
  • the ability to take the right action

Then my coach David has this program called "God Works Through Faith"; it's a manual and CD program and I like to take out the manual a couple times a week before I start my day and read a few passages to help me get grounded and be able to really focus on my big vision, master plan, purpose, passions and what I want so that I can center my faith and intentions on those things or activities.

In this program I found a list of 21 Ways to Strengthen Your Faith and I wanted to share them with you. Of course there are way too many to list now, here so I picked out 5 that stood out to me that I thought could make a difference for those of you who are looking to experience having more faith in your life.

  1. Be expectant, confident and optimistic
  2. Look for the good in everything and everybody. Refuse to recognize anything but the good.
  3. Train your mind to think in terms of abundance; never allow it to dwell upon lack or limitation in any form.
  4. Keep your imagination centered in what you want and keep your faith moving toward it.
  5. When you meet trouble of any kind, refuse to be worried or disturbed by it. Know that you are bigger than any adverse thing that happens to you and have the power to overcome it.

I hope I've opened your eyes a little bit more than they were or given you a reminder that you need to have this stuff ON TOP OF YOUR MIND every day or it won't work. I know you're busy, I know this is hard but you'll do it if you truly want to make some big shifts and transformations in your life and your business right?

I'm happy to help you too. Many times my clients and I discuss this in our private coaching sessions because lack of faith gets in the way of our success and without the right mindset, the marketing doesn't matter! Take care!

"Who Can You Partner With?

To do a joint venture or earn affiliate commissions...

Do you have friends or peers that do regular promotions with complimentary businesses or maybe they earn additional income by referring certain companies or products?

This is what I'm referring to here.

First, if you're thinking "but I can't do that with my business" or some other negative thought is crossing your mind - GET RID OF IT! Every single person (not even business owner) can make money some how this way.

On the other hand, if you're saying "I already do this", well then GREAT! But...I'll bet you aren't doing as much as you could be doing, right? And that's probably due to lack of time right?

So, I challenge you this week to take 2 steps:

  1. Make a list like the one I did below for myself as to all the people you could potentially outsource to, refer business to and also those who it would make sense that they referred back to you. Only list the obvious-type partners, not random businesses that you want; they need to have a similar target market as you do for this to work and be a true WIN-WIN situation.
  2. Take this list of industries, types of companies, etc. and then go into your database first to see who YOU know that fits these categories. After that, go to your membership organizations, etc. and look for others in your local area and then online too. Build a big 'prospect list' so to speak of everyone you would love to collaborate with and then start calling them and emailing them asking them to chat about the opportunities available to you both.

The more you do this, the more opportunities will open up to you, you'll see. But make sure you're intention is to make it a WIN-WIN or it won't work ok?

Who I outsource to, refer business to or who would be great power partners for ME:

  • Advertising Mediums and Sales reps
  • Attorneys - Business or Estate
  • Audio Recording Companies
  • Bookkeepers
  • Branding Consultants/Coaches
  • Business Consultants/Strategiests
  • Coaches - business and personal
  • Computer Techs and companies
  • Copywriters
  • CPA's, Accountants
  • Credit Card Services, Merchant Services
  • Direct mail list brokers
  • Financial Planners/Advisors
  • Gift Basket Companies and Gifting related companies
  • Graphic designers
  • Hosting companies
  • HR or career consultants
  • Internet marketing specialists, SEO companies
  • Mailing Houses
  • Organizations - eWomenNetwork, chambers, leads groups
  • Personnel Agencies
  • Photographers
  • Printers
  • Professional Organizers
  • Promotional product companies
  • Public Relations People
  • Shopping Carts Solutions
  • Sign and Graphic companies
  • Transcriptionist
  • Video Recording Companies
  • Videographers
  • Virtual Assistants
  • Virtual Office Receptionists
  • Web designers
  • Websites and resources online - birthdayalarm.com, vistaprint.com, webstat.com, sendoutcards.com, etc.

Do you see your type of business on my list? Then why aren't you marketing me? Why aren't you doing things to become top of mind like I am probably to you?

Now of course, remember, you just can't add me to your email list because I'm not opted in right? So what will you do to follow up?

I can help you with that and a whole host of other things in your business and your marketing so you can become more successful and make more money ASAP!
