The 7 Dynamic Laws of Change

Recently at a business and mindset seminar given by one of my mentors, David Neagle; there were many parts of the program that stood out and I'll write more on some of the other ones as the weeks go on but today I'm writing about one part.

Why I like to attend lots of conferences, workshops and seminars like this one is:
1. to learn more, grow more and implement more in my life and business
2. to have more knowledge to impart on you, my loyal subscribers who may not be able to attend as many events as me

What I've found over the last couple years of self development, business strategizing and deep contemplation of where I want to go in my business and who I want to be comes down to 4 main key ideals:

1. It's important to take decisive action whenever the right opportunities arise
2. It's important to ask for help when you need it (or even if you think you don't) to see what else is possible for you (that you may not be able to see yet)
3. It's important to keep the faith - in yourself, what you're doing and what you're meant to be doing; don't let outside influences keep you down or keep you small
4. It's important to continually invest in yourself by:
• stepping out big
• showing up
• being seen
• giving to others without expecting in return
• wisely putting your money where your mouth is

So, to impart a little wisdom from one of my mentors, here are the 7 Dynamic Laws of Change; see what comes up for you when you read them?

1. People will feel awkward, ill at ease and self conscious
2. People will think about what they have to give up
3. People will feel alone even if everyone else is going through the same or similar change
4. People can handle only so much change
5. People are at different levels of readiness or awareness of change
6. People will be concerned that they don't have enough resources, time, money, skills, etc.
7. If you take the pressure off, people will revert back to their old behavior

I encourage you to think about these and how they are impacting how you're living your life and how you may be running your business.

• Are you constantly in fear that you may have to go out of business or go back and get a JOB?
• Are you worried that you won't be able to pay the bills?
• Do you wonder what's next for you but have no idea how to get there?

Well those are all valid questions that can be answered clearly if you simply ASK.

Ask for help, advice and guidance. Some of the wealthiest people pride themselves having gotten help from a mentor, program or other source. They're wealthy because they knew that to get where they wanted to quicker, they needed NOT to recreate the wheel.

4th Time at ERS and Still Lots to Learn!

It amazes me at how much one can learn by getting really engrained in someone's teaching. My mentor David Neagle is one of those people. Although a lot of times he's saying the same stuff, over and over again, sometimes you don't hear certain messages until you're 'ready' to.

This October's ERS wasn't any different for me...the event was formatted a little differently however this year but it was still fabulous.

Scott (my honey) went with me again - he's loving this stuff more and more! My little Sheriff might become a Love Coach someday; we'll see....he's so good helping couples (particularly couples with one entrepreneur and one non-entrepreneur) navigate their relationship, communication and how to build a better, more loving life together supporting and loving each other. Go hun! ;0)
 
I met some great people at ERS this time around too and many who are attending my event in San Francisco this week as I write!


I can't NOT be in this type of energy at least 8+ times a year which is why I attend so many events like this one and like the Big Mission one I went to just days before....

Which is why I'm holding my own event this week too! If you're not attending it, we'll miss you but watch my emails and blog posts for new programs coming out very soon!! One may be the perfect fit for you to help you grow and market YOUR business....you never know!

Got FAITH?

So, do you have it? Do you really know what it is? Let me explain why I'm talking about this today. First of all, if you're listening to the news or gossiping about the economy it may be hard for you to live currently in complete faith that 'everything will work out in the end'. However if you are choosing to reject the recession like many of my friends and I then your faith is probably pretty well in-tact.

My friend Christine Kloser is writing a book called The Faith Formula to compliment her recent book The Freedom Formula, many of you may have gotten her book when I announced her big launch a month or so ago - it's awesome. (Oh and I have to tell you about her big event she's having too in LA this January - it's called the Freedom Formula Experience and it's going to knock your socks off - check it out and JOIN ME!)

So, without giving away her whole formula, I listened in on a teleclass with Christine and she describes faith as having:

• a belief in self
• a high vibration or energy
• intent focus
• persistence
• the ability to take the right action

Then my coach David has this program called "God Works Through Faith"; it's a manual and CD program and I like to take out the manual a couple times a week before I start my day and read a few passages to help me get grounded and be able to really focus on my big vision, master plan, purpose, passions and what I want so that I can center my faith and intentions on those things or activities.

In this program I found a list of 21 Ways to Strengthen Your Faith and I wanted to share them with you. Of course there are way too many to list now, here so I picked out 5 that stood out to me that I thought could make a difference for those of you who are looking to experience having more faith in your life.

1. Be expectant, confident and optimistic
2. Look for the good in everything and everybody. Refuse to recognize anything but the good.
3. Train your mind to think in terms of abundance; never allow it to dwell upon lack or limitation in any form.
4. Keep your imagination centered in what you want and keep your faith moving toward it.
5. When you meet trouble of any kind, refuse to be worried or disturbed by it. Know that you are bigger than any adverse thing that happens to you and have the power to overcome it.

I hope I've opened your eyes a little bit more than they were or given you a reminder that you need to have this stuff ON TOP OF YOUR MIND every day or it won't work. I know you're busy, I know this is hard but you'll do it if you truly want to make some big shifts and transformations in your life and your business right?
